Role overview

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our business by generating leads, building relationships, and contributing to the expansion of our customer base. You will be responsible for creating outreach strategies, executing on lead generation strategies, and booking meetings for the sales team. Your performance will be measured based on meetings booked and meetings completed with potential.

Key responsibilities and duties

  • Lead generation: research and identify potential clients through online research, social media, industry events and other channels.
  • Outreach: conduct outreach to book meetings with qualified prospects through email, LinkedIn and other channels.
  • Strategy: work with the marketing team to set the strategy for lead generation including materials and tools needed to achieve success.
  • Messaging: responsible for all messaging and communications as part of the lead generation process.
  • Qualification: evaluate and qualify leads for handover to sales along with nurturing leads not yet ready for conversion.
  • Database management: maintain accurate and up to date records of leads, interactions, and outcomes in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing through the entire marketing and sales process.

Must haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong written and verbal and English communication skills
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role such as SDR or BDR with a demonstrated history of quota achievement in lead generation.
  • Familiarity with CRM and lead generation tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing.

As a plus

  • Experience in the technology sector.
