Operations Manager



Role overview

Transcenda, headquartered in the US, was founded in July 2019 and is a full-lifecycle product development company. Transcenda works with Fortune 500 companies and well-funded startups to help bring new products to life.

This role, reporting directly to the CEO/Co-Founder, will work closely with Transcenda’s Leadership Team to help lead and manage processes and people in achieving strategic business objectives. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, and you’ll have the ability to tackle new challenges each day with a high degree of creativity and autonomy. Must haves

  • 10+ years of professional business experience with 5+ in a similar role within the same industry.
  • Experience creating policies and processes from scratch and documenting them.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining a knowledge management solution.
  • Background in project management.
  • Strong English communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Data literacy - able to work efficiently with spreadsheets and other tools to create meaningful reports (pivot tables, formulas, data best practices). 
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills and well-versed in negotiation best practices.
  • Experience evaluating software solutions and implementing and migrating new solutions to improve business processes.
  • Understanding of legal, finance, and HR.
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying high EQ to achieve results.
  • University degree in a technical domain.

As a plus

  • Experience in scaling a company from 200 people to 1000 people.
  • Additional language skills - Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian, and Spanish.
  • Experience in developing leadership development programs
  • Experience in Legal, Finance, or HR.

Key responsibilities

  • Process Management: Develop, implement, and improve operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Implementation and ownership of the knowledgebase system (Confluence) to ensure that the platform meets Transcenda’s specific needs and objectives. 
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure services meet established standards and customer expectations. Ownership of NPS program.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to suggest and implement process enhancements.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that operational processes comply with industry regulations and legal requirements.
  • Technology Integration: Implement and leverage technology and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making and communicate the performance of operations to senior management.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the company's strategic plan by providing insights and recommendations related to operations.
  • Internal communications specialist - plan and execute internal communication via various channels.

  • Managing and negotiating contracts with vendors, consultants, and professional resources.
