Must haves
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation.
- Proven experience in QA automation using Playwright and Python-based tools.
- Solid knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
- Experience with REST APIs (tools like Postman or Insomnia); strong understanding of JSON structures.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
- Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English level — both written and spoken.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in testing a new API/SDK being built with R Studio.
- Understand project requirements and technical specifications; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for new and existing features.
- Define and execute testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Plan, estimate, and prioritize testing tasks as part of the agile process.
- Identify, log, and track defects through resolution; ensure fixes are successfully implemented.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and architects to define system requirements and improve testability.
- Contribute to test architecture decisions and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, such as defect rates and test coverage.
- Stay informed of the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices.
- Ensure a strong quality focus from concept to delivery.
