Must haves
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development and automation.
- Data modeling expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Python and data management frameworks (e.g., pandas).
- Experience with AWS basics (S3, IAM, monitoring services).
- Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines.
- Experience in system architecture design and making infrastructure decisions.
- Strong communication skills, with experience working directly with senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to create business value.
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and high-throughput streaming systems in production.
- Drive engineering efforts from concept to production with a focus on quality and automation.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to shape the product and data strategy.
- Contribute to software architecture, infrastructure automation, and key technical decisions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with security standards.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and reporting to ensure reliability of data systems.
