Transcenda seeks a Lead Marketing Designer to be the sole in-house designer, managing and deploying the brand for our executive and marketing teams. This hands-on, execution-focused role involves building visual assets for campaigns, thought leadership, and corporate communications, often involving presentations. The designer will ensure brand consistency and elevate visual impact using defined systems, with opportunities for strategic input in art direction and brand design. This is ideal for a disciplined junior or mid-level designer excited about high-impact marketing design operations and supporting innovative multimedia brand systems within our successful, growing 200+ person company.

Must haves
- 3+ years of professional design experience, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong fundamentals in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience designing professional presentations or structured marketing materials.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
- Ability to work independently as the sole in-house designer.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite or other equivalent creative production software and tools
- Experience with web design and working with front end teams or tools to deploy high grade modern web experiences.
- Understanding of marketing principles, willingness to discuss them, and ability to turn business objectives into design decisions.
- Ability to manage projects independently, from conceptualization to execution.
- Portfolio and work experience showing skill proficiency and range that matches job requirements.
As a plus
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing tools such as After Effects or Premiere Pro.
- Experience working within established brand systems.
- Experience collaborating with web development teams.
- Experience designing long-form content or highly communicative conceptual graphic work (reports, ebooks, infographics, landing page experiences).

Key responsibilities
Marketing and Web Design (Primary Focus)
- Support marketing programs with creative direction and hands on asset production - website visuals, display ads, thought leadership content, campaign landing pages, quarterly newsletter, social media graphics, sales collateral.
- Work with the head of marketing to build visual concepts and assets for campaigns and corporate comms.
- Design layouts, graphics, and visuals to accompany assets like blogs, keynotes, sales pitches, or print correspondence.
- Create engaging visuals that effectively communicate complex messages for slide decks, thought leadership, and web pages.
- Create mockups for website updates and landing pages in collaboration with our Webflow development agency.
- Use the right combination of Figma, Adobe (and other like tools) to produce the right fidelity and format of assets requested by marketing.
- Not required, but if you have hands-on experience or growth potential in the following, tell us! Building and using advanced agentic or generative workflows, motion design in After Effects (or similar), 3D Modeling in Blender (or similar), Content Management Systems (CMS), or front-end familiarity (knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate better developer handoff.)
Executive Presentation Design (Primary Focus)
- Design and polish executive-level presentations (QBRs, customer meetings, internal town halls, sales pitches).
- Apply existing templates and brand standards to new content from senior leadership.
- Improve slide clarity through strong hierarchy, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Create custom visuals or diagrams when needed.
- Work closely with the head of marketing to be a strategic communication partner to the business within rapid iteration cycles.
Brand Stewardship
- Maintain and organize the brand asset library (templates, graphics, components).
- Provide creative direction and insight into the latest design trends and best practices.
- Ensure consistent visual execution across marketing and executive materials.
- Identify small, practical improvements to templates and systems over time.

Special Projects
- Contribute to brand-driven initiatives (e.g., podcast assets, ebooks, thought leadership content).
- Support, (and if desired eventually lead) larger iterations and development of brand systems.
- Collaborate with external agencies or contract designers when required.
