Must-Haves
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Python 3.10+, including modern language features and best practices.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform end-to-end requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and fluent English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with automation frameworks or internal scripting platforms.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
Key responsibilities
- Platform and solution development: Work with an internal Python-based scripting framework to enhance solution functionality, focusing on sustainability-related solutions like carbon accounting and ESG reporting.
- Collaboration and feedback: Work with product, data, and other teams to integrate solutions, gathering client and partner feedback to guide ongoing development.
- Extend existing automation functionality and contribute to the continuous improvement of the scripting framework.
