We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA professional who thrives in the world of systems integration. In this role, you’ll focus on manual testing of data exchanges between our client’s platform and third-party solutions like Oracle, NetSuite, Anaplan, and others. You’ll be the gatekeeper of data accuracy, consistency, and flow—ensuring smooth integration and high-quality performance across systems.
Must haves:
- 2+ years of experience in manual QA with a strong focus on system or API integrations.
- Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and how systems exchange data.
- Experience testing data pipelines or platform-to-platform connections (e.g., ERP, financial, and planning tools).
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, investigative approach to QA.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger.
- Experience working in regulated environments or with sensitive business data.
- Exposure to integration with systems like Oracle, NetSuite, Anaplan, Salesforce, etc.
- Basic SQL knowledge or experience querying backend data to support testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual end-to-end testing of system integrations, focusing on data flow validation across platforms.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to define integration test scenarios.
- Execute test cases to verify data accuracy, system behavior, and communication between systems.
- Identify, isolate, and report defects in the integration logic or API usage.
- Collaborate with developers, integration engineers, and product teams to understand data mapping and system behavior.
- Maintain thorough documentation of connector configurations, system dependencies, and integration guides.
- Manage credentials and configure security policies for external services.
