We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with Java expertise, who will work on maintaining and evolving a technically sophisticated platform built on microservices architecture with a graph database at its core, deployed on Kubernetes/AWS. The product handles complex, interconnected compliance data — performance and reliability are critical.
If you enjoy understanding complex systems, untangling dependencies, and making meaningful improvements to battle-tested production code, this role is ideal for you.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end user experience of the platform, ensuring reliability and performance meet user expectations.
- Make technical decisions and trade-offs to reduce operational overhead and improve system stability.
- Implement observability solutions to increase visibility into system behavior and user experience.
- Maintain and enhance product capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.
Must haves
- Strong proficiency in a modern web stack based on Java.
- 7+ years of professional experience working with Java.
- Hands-on experience building web applications with TypeScript / Dart / React.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to propose new ideas, contribute to creative problem-solving, and drive innovative features.
- Proven ability to balance technical expertise with interpersonal skills — success in this role requires strong teamwork, adaptability, and initiative.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English level.
Nice to have
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, or Dart.
- Experience working with modern relational databases.
- Familiarity with running services in Kubernetes.
